I am Eddie Jerks III, a photographer and digital media artist that focuses on capturing the aspects of BIPOC life through portraiture, staging, and creative design. The creation of an image through the camera-eye captures not just the essence of individuals and locations, but also a glimpse of how they have come to be. In some instances the photograph helps shape the narrative of people and what they aim to do as professionals, as creatives, or as everyday people. My eye helps reveal their personal story in a singularly captured moment. I produce work that carefully observes and reframes the lives of BIPOC individuals and how these lives are interwoven into the fabric of the contemporary world.
